In the United States, Samsung has made available the Galaxy S22 series’ March 2024 security update. The majority of other high-end smartphones, like as the Galaxy S20, S23, S23 FE, S24, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3, have already received the update.
In the US, the update can be downloaded for Galaxy S22 devices that are factory-unlocked or carrier-locked.
One UI 6.1 releases prior to the March 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22
Firmware version S90xUSQS4DXBG, the latest software update for the carrier-locked Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra models, has reached the US market. Firmware version S90xU1UES4DXB5 is being updated for those phones’ factory-unlocked models as well.
The March 2024 security patch, which addresses more than forty security updates, is part of the latest update. The security flaws in earlier software versions are addressed by these fixes. It doesn’t offer any enhanced functionality or new features.
You may now check your phone for the latest update if you live in the US and own a Galaxy S22 series phone. To accomplish that, launch your phone’s Settings app, go to Software update, and select Download and install. Alternatively, you can manually flash the updated firmware file by downloading it from our database.
Samsung plans to release the One UI 6.1 upgrade for the Galaxy S22 series within the next few months. The AI-powered features that made their debut with the Galaxy S24 series will not be included in this upgrade, either.
