Against an estimated budget of over $100 million, the sequel made over $370 million in box office revenue worldwide throughout its theatrical run. With a nearly flawless Audience Score of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on over 2,500 verified ratings, the movie has managed to maintain its popularity among viewers despite reviewers’ varied assessments.
The directors of Bad Boys for Life, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, are helming Bad Boys: Ride or Die once more, based on a screenplay penned by Chris Bremmer. Returning cast members Joe Pantoliano, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nunez, John Salley, Jacob Scipio, and DJ Khaled appear alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the new film.
The newbies to the franchise Tiffany Haddish, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seehorn, Joyner Lucas, Eric Dane, Melanie Liburd, and Tasha Smith are among the other cast members.
