Critics Choice Awards 2025 Best Red Carpet Looks

One of the most prestigious film awards is the Critics Choice Awards. The Critics Choice Awards in Los Angeles finally began on Friday night after being postponed twice because of the flames that ravaged the city last month.

This year’s ceremony took place at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, a few miles from the Pacific Palisades neighborhood, which was devastated by fire. It was held on a Friday night, which is not a typical time slot.

hosted for the third year in a row by Chelsea Handler. Actors Kate Hudson, Lupita Nyong’o, Michelle Yeoh, and Natasha Lyonne are among the night’s celebrity presenters. Particularly attracting attention were Nyong’o and Yeoh, who wore floral Chanel gowns and a strapless Balenciaga dress with a pop of colbalt blue.

But guests also brought glitter and bursts of color. A vibrant floral bustier peeked through the usually solemn black tulle of Lupita Nyong’o’s handmade Chanel gown.

2025 Critics’ Choice Awards: Top Red Carpet Outfits

1. The Most Humphrey Bogart: Nicole Kidman

The “Lioness” and “Babygirl” actress chose a broad-shouldered Saint Laurent suit jacket, high-waisted pants, and a polka-dot tie in place of a gown, creating an outfit that was reminiscent of Old Hollywood menswear.

2. The Most of jellyfish: Ariana Grande

The “Wicked” actress on the red carpet wearing a Dior couture gown that had a fringe that hung like a tentacle from the hoop skirt.

3. The Most Layered: Colman Domingo

The well-known fashionista from “Sing Sing” didn’t limit himself to a traditional three-piece suit; instead, he wore a magnificent coat draped elegantly over his shoulders as part of his sleek, monochrome ensemble.

4. Most Tubular: Moeka Hoshi

The “Shogun” actress, wearing a breezy red Louis Vuitton outfit with a pleated capelet and a flowing skirt, made a compelling argument for tube tops as formal attire.

5. The Most Insectoid: Demi Moore

The actress, who starred in “The Substance,” looked like a gorgeous bug shedding its carapace in a navy Schiaparelli couture gown with strips of cloth falling apart near the bottom.

6. Most Tulle: Lupita Nyong’o

The actress’s floral-print bustier dress, covered in yards and yards of black tulle, was a Chanel couture outfit that was both ominous and charming.
