CMF Watch Pro 2 Upgrade Includes More UI Changes And Google Health Connect Syncing

There is a new software update available for the July 2024 wearable, CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2. Users are gradually receiving version 1.0.0.51, which includes a number of little changes in addition to one major addition: Google Health Connect integration—but only for Android users.

Many optimizations are described in detail in the update changelog. The light animation for incoming call notifications has been updated, and the weekly temperature data presentation has been reorganized for improved readability. The way that information about daylight saving time is shown in the world clock feature has been slightly adjusted.

Furthermore, calorie and exercise time measurements are now presented in a better way on some watch widgets. Lastly, while there are no details in the changelog, the update promises to provide a general “boost” to the user experience.

The Google Health Connect integration is by far the biggest update in version 1.0.0.51. Users can synchronize health data from the Watch Pro 2 with Google’s health data platform thanks to this feature, which is only available on Android devices. The integration of the Watch Pro 2 with other fitness trackers and health apps inside the Google ecosystem may provide consumers with a more comprehensive view of their health data.

Alongside the Watch Pro 2 firmware upgrade, the companion CMF Watch software is also updated for iOS and Android. Data from the Watch Pro 2 (and the original Watch Pro) is now displayed on the app’s homepage. Furthermore, users may now create daily step targets right within the app.
