The Ye S7 EV SUV is now available in full, as Honda is extending its range of electric vehicles in China. The electric SUV is a part of the new Ye lineup of BEVs from the Japanese manufacturer, which also includes the GT Concept sedan and the P7 and S7 SUVs. After making its debut on China’s MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) website, the Ye S7 was initially shown at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.
The electric SUV has an angular front fascia with full-width LED DRL and Y-shaped LED headlights. The camera-based ORVMs that have taken the place of the traditional mirrors may be seen toward the sides along with the flush door handles. Aero-efficient wheels are additionally included in the bundle. An H-shaped signature is formed by the full-width LED DRL connecting vertical LED elements on the rear profile.
A compact driver’s display and a sizable infotainment system positioned vertically are matched with a multi-layer dashboard arrangement inside the interior. It is easy to see features like ambient lighting, a huge dual sunroof, an automated parking brake, and more.
The Honda Ye S7 electric SUV will have dimensions of 4,750 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, 1,625 mm in height, and 2,930 mm in wheelbase.
The Ye S7 has two different battery pack configurations and is built on a born-electric platform. This comprises an AWD dual-motor arrangement producing 469 horsepower and a 268 bhp single-motor RWD setup. A ternary lithium battery pack sourced from CATL will power the Ye S7.
The Honda Dongfeng joint venture will be in charge of local production of the Honda Ye S7 electric SUV. By the end of this year, the EV SUV will be available for purchase in China.
