Blood Pressure Functionality Is Available On The New ASUS VivoWatch 6 Smartwatch
The VivoWatch 6, ASUS’s newest flagship wristwatch, has been revealed. With its medical-grade PPG and ECG sensors, the wearable is health and wellness oriented. Using the corresponding watch apps, these let you take fingertip-based blood pressure and ECG readings.
Using your thumb and index finger, you may measure your body composition with the bioelectrical impedance (BIA) on the outer ring of the VivoWatch 6. This allows you to track your water content, basal metabolic rate, skeletal muscle, and body fat. Other measures include tracking your sleep patterns, recording your daily emotions with Body Harmony Analysis, and calculating your Relaxation Index based on your heart rate variability. These statistics are also available to examine through the ASUS HealthConnect app, which also offers Care Track—a tool for sharing location and health information with loved ones.
The smartwatch also features a Pomodoro clock, call and message notifications, a find my phone feature, and dual-band GPS for outdoor workouts. The wearable weights 60 g (~2.1 oz) and features a 1.39-inch (~35 mm) AMOLED display with up to 350 nits of brightness that is shielded by Gorilla Glass. It can operate for up to nine days, or fourteen days in power-saving mode, according to the firm. The price of the ASUS VivoWatch 6 is not yet known for the US and EU markets, although it is anticipated to arrive on sale soon for £109.99.
