Before Its Launch, A New Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB Was Spied In India

Mercedes-Benz began offering the newest E-Class for sale in international countries in the beginning of 2023. Before the year ends, the long wheelbase version will be introduced in India.

The long wheelbase E-Class will only be available in India, the market for vehicles with right-hand drive. Its dimensions are 1,493 mm in height, 1,880 mm in width, and 5,092 mm in length, with a 3,094 mm wheelbase. Earlier in the year, the regular E-Class also had its global debut, and both versions share a number of exterior and interior features.

The E-Class LWB shares a lot of visual similarities with the regular sedan. On the other hand, it shares a longer back door with the current E-Class LWB variant. Furthermore, the back quarter glass is located behind the back door instead of being incorporated into the back door along with the window. A chrome-surrounded single-slat grille is part of the front fascia.

Along with flush-fitting door handles, two-tone alloy wheels, big LED headlamps and tail lamps, and redesigned front and rear bumpers, there’s more. Three integrated screens are located behind a single glass panel on the dash in the Mercedes Superscreen configuration that is standard on the cabin. It has a 14.4-inch center touchscreen infotainment display, a 12.2-inch instrumentation screen, and a third screen for the co-passenger.

A four-zone automated temperature control system, Level 4 ADAS technology, two-tone seat upholstery, rear seat power reclining, Burmester audio, and active ambient lighting will be added to the list of features. The E-Class LWB is sold with an extensive array of six engine options in international countries.

However, mild-hybrid technology can be used with the well-known 2.0L turbocharged petrol and diesel powertrains in India to save gasoline.
