Android Users Can Use the Google App to Receive Different Notifications
For Android devices, the Google app now has a dedicated notifications stream. This update follows the addition of capabilities to Google Search’s mobile version in March. At the moment, the app’s beta version 15.20 is the only one with the new notifications feed.
The bottom navigation bar contains the new tab. This brings the notifications tab into line with the Saved, Discover, and Search tabs. The updates that you see on the mobile web version will also appear in this new tab.
You may view notifications from search, sports, weather, and other sources in the dedicated notifications stream. “Today” and “Earlier” are the two areas under which the notifications are grouped. Using the “Earlier” option, you can view alerts that are older than a day.
Each notification has a three-dot menu button that gives you the ability to delete, stop receiving similar notifications, and provide comments. When you tap on a specific notice, the update’s search results will appear.
Although a specific date for the public release has not yet been set, the capability is anticipated to be released shortly.
The notification feed is a fantastic addition to the app and will be really helpful to have everything in one location and easily accessible.
