‘American Idol’: Hunter Girl Belts Out Miranda Lambert Cover
Six contestants went home during the Monday (April 18) night episode of American Idol, but Huntergirl was not one of them.

Once again, there was talk, but this time, after receiving the good news of her idol’s fate, with less strain on her shoulders, Huntergirl featured the cover of Miranda Lambert’s “Voice” country superstar’s 2016 double album, The Wet Off the Wings.
In tribute to Lambert, Huntergirl, whose real name is Hunter Volkonovsky, wore a stylish leather fringe jacket for the performance, and Capella opened the song. Huntergirl was greeted by fans waving their arms as they crossed the stage and walked to the judge’s table.
Since then, Huntergirl has not received any comments or comments from Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie or Katy Perry. But looking at the look on their faces, it seems she did justice to Lambert’s song. Huntergirl will now have to wait to see if she wins the American vote once again when the show returns with the next round of Elimination.
Huntergirl was the first contestant of the season to receive a Platinum ticket. She is now seen competing with the top 14 contestants, including Emerson Flora, Mike Parker, Tristan Gracet, J, Nicolina, Dan Marshall, Ava Maybie, Alegra Miles, Noah Thompson, Leah Marlin, Christian Guardino and Fritz Hager. Jacob Moran, Sage McNally, Eli Rowe, Katirah Love, Cameron Whitcomb and Cadence Baker all came out at the end of the two-hour broadcast.
