Entertainer Nia Long has joined the cast of Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy “Plus/Minus.”
Long, whose new onscreen credits incorporate the thriller “Lethal Affair,” 1960s-set drama “The Banker” and “Roxanne,” will show up close by “Riverdale” star Lili Reinhart and Luke Wilson.
The recently declared ensemble additionally includes “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” entertainer Danny Ramirez, David Corenswet (“House of Cards”), Aisha Dee (“The Bold Type) and Andrea Savage (“I’m Sorry”).
Coordinated by Wanuri Kahiu, the movie producer of the romance drama “Rafiki,” “In addition to/Minus” centers on Natalie (Reinhart), whose life separates into two equal real factors just before her school graduation. One form sees her become pregnant and navigate motherhood as a youthful grown-up in her Texas old neighborhood, and the other excursion happens as she moves to Los Angeles to seek after her profession. Per the logline of the film, the opposite ways lead the 20something Natalie to experience life-changing love, devastating heartbreak and rediscover herself. April Prosser composed the screenplay.
Producers on “Plus/ Minus” include Screen Arcade’s Bryan Unkeless and Eric Newman, just as CatchLight Studios’ Jessica Malanaphy. Reinhart is filling in as a leader maker on the film, alongside Alyssa Rodrigues for Screen Arcade and Jeanette Volturno for CatchLight Studios.
Long is most popular for films, for example, “Boyz n the Hood,” “Love Jones, Soul Food,” “The Best Man” and “Enormous Momma’s House.” On the TV front, she had important jobs on the sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and the crime drama “Third Watch.”
