Features and specs of the Acer Iconia X12

The 12.6-inch 2.5K AMOLED display, four stereo speakers, and elegant 6.7 mm design are the highlights of the Acer Iconia X12. With its MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256 GB of storage, it has more than enough power for demanding workloads and multitasking.

Additionally, Acer has released a selection of Iconia X12 accessories to increase productivity. These consist of an aluminum stylus pen, a detachable Bluetooth keyboard with a trackpad, and a portfolio case with a stylus slot and adjustable stand. The tablet has four speakers built into it for audio.

The Iconia X12 has a 13 MP autofocus rear camera with flash for taking pictures and movies, in addition to an 8 MP front camera for video calls and selfies. The tablet features fast charging in addition to a 10,000 mAh battery. It features an earphone jack, a microSD card slot with a capacity of 1 TB, and a USB Type-C connector. It provides dual-band WiFi 5, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.2 for communication. The tablet, which is powered by Android 14, provides a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Cost and accessibility

With a price tag of USD 349, 369 Euros, or 2,688 RMB, Acer has made their tablet a competitive choice in the market. In January 2025, the Iconia X12 is anticipated to be accessible in China, EMEA, and North America.

In other news, Red Magic is set to release two gaming tablets with 10.9- and 12.4-inch screens later today. With a 50 MP rear camera, RGB illumination, and two color options—Deuterium Transparent Silver Wing and Dark Night—both versions have a similar design.

The 10.9-inch model will sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, a 2.8K LCD display, and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. A bigger battery and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU are anticipated for the 12.4-inch variant.
