Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 with AI Noise Cancellation and Dual Drivers Released Worldwide
A few weeks after launching the FreeBuds Pro 4 in China, Huawei has now released it for the worldwide market. The Huawei Mate X6 foldable smartphone was also unveiled in Dubai.
Features of the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4
The potent Kirin A2 chip at the core of the FreeBuds Pro 4 allows for up to 48kHz/24-bit lossless music and fast 2.3 Mbps transmission.
The earbuds have a dual-driver system that combines a micro-planar tweeter and an 11mm dynamic driver. With its extended treble, clean midrange, and deep bass, this configuration offers a well-balanced sonic profile.
The FreeBuds Pro 4 incorporates cutting-edge noise canceling technology to dramatically enhance music quality. While a voice-transparent mode makes it simple for users to transition between music and talks, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) lowers background noise. In order to adjust the sound quality to the surroundings, the earbuds additionally employ dynamic EQ and digital frequency division.
To improve call quality, the earbuds have four microphones, including a reverse bone conduction pickup microphone. Users may answer or reject incoming calls hands-free with the nod-to-answer feature and enjoy immersive spatial audio, among other features.
On a single charge, the FreeBuds Pro 4 can play for up to 6.5 hours without ANC or 4.5 hours with ANC. The battery life is increased to 33 hours without ANC or 23 hours with ANC when using the charging cover. The earbuds are appropriate for a variety of environments because they have an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.
Cost and accessibility
Starting on January 9, 2025, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 will be sold through Huawei’s online store and a few chosen merchants. It costs 199 euros and comes in Black, White, and Green.
