Daisy Ridley’s Cleaner Gets a US Release Date and a New Image for Action Film

The action film Cleaner, starring Daisy Ridley, has a US release date set by Quiver Distribution. Simon Uttley wrote the screenplay and Martin Campbell, the director of James Bond, directed it.

The upcoming action movie, which is produced by Qwerty Films and Anton, has its North American rights purchased by the film distribution business. Set in modern-day London, Cleaner will follow Joey Locke, Ridley’s former soldier who now works as a window cleaner in one of the tallest buildings in the UK.

When is the release date for Cleaner?

On February 21, 2025, the movie will be released in theaters across the United States. Cleaner will also feature One Piece’s Taz Skylar in addition to Ridley and Owen.

Synopsis

Cleaner will center on a group of radical activists who have taken over the “energy company’s annual gala, seizing 300 hostages in order to expose the corruption of the hosts. Their just cause is hijacked by an extremist within their ranks, who is ready to murder everyone in the building to send his anarchic message to the world. It falls to an ex-soldier turned window cleaner, played by Daisy Ridley, suspended 50 storeys up on the outside of the building, to save those trapped inside.

Ridley has experience starring in action movies, having portrayed Rey in the Star Wars series (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker). Magpie, Young Woman and the Sea, Ophelia, Chaos Walking, Sometimes I Think About Dying, The Marsh King’s Daughter, Murder on the Orient Express, and We Bury the Dead are just a few of the feature films in which she has starred.

February 21 marks the release of Cleaner in US theaters.
