BYD has Revealed the Exterior and Interior Colors of the Denza Z9: The Pre-sale Price Starts at $46,650
The Z9 sedan’s color options, features, and pre-sale price have all been made public by BYD’s Denza. It will go on sale on November 15 at the Guangzhou Auto Show for a special starting price of 334,800 yuan (47,100 USD). With its fully electric and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) drivetrains, the Denza Z9 will be positioned as a flagship luxury product alongside the Z9 GT wagon.
The Z9 comes with two interior color schemes (brown and beige) and four body colors (starry black, starlight gray, midnight purple, and moonlit beige). It has a stretched, sleek silhouette thanks to its massive 5.2-meter body and 3,125 mm wheelbase, and chrome-plated, multi-spoke rims lend a sophisticated touch. Its front and rear stylistic features include a big diffuser at the back, sloped A-pillars, and a continuous bonnet line.
Denza provides the Z9 in BEV and PHEV versions. With a combined power of 640 kW (858 hp) and a mixed range of up to 1,100 km, the PHEV model combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged internal combustion engine (ICE) that produces 152 kW (204 hp) with three electric motors. A 100 kWh battery and three electric motors with a combined power output of 710 kW (951 hp) are highlights of the BEV variant, which has a 630-kilometer range. Additionally, the Z9 incorporates Denza’s Yi-Sanfang technology, which enables sophisticated maneuverability modes like intelligent crab-walking, compass U-turn, and precise turning.
A 13.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.3-inch central touchscreen, a 3.2-inch passenger display, and extra screens for climate control and rearview mirror adjustments are among the digital displays found in the Denza Z9. Additionally, specific screens for individualized climate controls are fitted on the front seats for rear passengers. Wireless phone chargers, a Devialet audio system with up to 26 speakers, and a 50-inch augmented reality head-up display are all included in the model.
