Festival Edition of the Toyota Rumion MPV Launched
As part of their continuing global relationship, Toyota and Maruti Suzuki share many of their models and technology. In India and other countries, Toyota distributes a number of rebranded Maruti products. The Rumion was one of the most recent rebadged Maruti cars to join the Toyota lineup. In case you are unaware, the Toyota Rumion is a badge-engineered variant of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV. Toyota has now declared that the Rumion MPV Festival Edition will be available for purchase.
As the name implies, the Festival Edition is a limited-edition version that will be made available to customers during this joyous time of year. Toyota is also providing a complimentary accessory package valued at Rs 20,608 as part of the bundle. Regarding the modifications, Toyota is selling the Rumion Festival Edition, which comes with chrome door visors, a roof edge spoiler, body side molding, a carpet mat, black door garnish, mud flaps, bumper garnish, headlight garnish, and number plate garnish.
Simply put, the Festival Edition Rumion is an adorned version of the standard Rumion. The SUV has been introduced to the market and will be offered at every Toyota dealership nationwide through October 31, 2024. S MT, S AT, G MT, V MT, V AT, and S MT CNG versions of the Rumion Festival Edition are available from Toyota.
To give the MPV a more Toyota-like appearance, Toyota made a few small cosmetic adjustments to the front. The Innova Crysta’s front grille appears to be a smaller version of this one. Similar small adjustments are made to the bumper and lower air dam designs. Aside from this, the car is emblazoned with the Toyota insignia and badges on the wheels.
Ertiga and Rumion are identical mechanically. The identical 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated gasoline engine powers both of them. This engine has a maximum torque of 136 Nm and 101 Bhp. Both a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission are available for the powerplant. Rumion’s price ranges from Rs 10.44 lakh ex-showroom to Rs 13.73 lakh ex-showroom.
For the Rumion, Toyota is providing a three-year or one million-kilometer guarantee. The buyer may extend this warranty in accordance with his needs.
Next year, the Grand Vitara-sized electric SUV is anticipated to be released in India.
Both firms are working together to build the SUV, and following the eVX’s release, Toyota will introduce its own version of the Maruti eVX to the market. Additionally, Toyota allows consumers to customize their Fortuner and Hyryder SUVs at the dealership level.
