OnePlus 13 Design and Launch Date in China Officially Unveiled
Now that the OnePlus 13 has been formally unveiled, you can clearly see its design. It has smooth, spherical camera module with three cameras and flash, and flat sidewalls. The camera module now sits separately in the redesigned design, moving away from the OnePlus 12’s frame-integrated camera system.
Three additional colors and finishes—”White Dawn” with a smooth glass finish, “Blue Moment” with a texture akin to skin, and “Obsidian” with a smooth, natural glass feel—will be offered for the phone. A green version might possibly exist, but exclusively for the international market.
Expected specifications for the OnePlus 13
The 6.82″ micro-quad-curved BOE display on the front of the OnePlus 13 will have 2K+ resolution with Dolby Vision, 2160 Hz PWM dimming for low brightness, and a maximum brightness of 1,800 Nits worldwide. For improved visuals, the panel will also include a Pro XDR dynamic range and support HDR10+.
The phone’s internal components include a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. According to reports, the camera system consists of a 32 MP selfie camera, a 50 MP Sony LYT808 1/1.4″ main camera with OIS, a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 1/2.76″ ultra-wide, and a 50 MP Sony LYT600 1/1.95″ 3x zoom lens with OIS.
A 6,000/6,100 mAh battery with 50W magnetic wireless charging and 100W rapid cable charging may be included in the OnePlus 13. Based on Android 15, it will run ColorOS/OxygenOS 15. Along with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, NFC, an IR Blaster, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and alert slider, the phone will also have these features.
On October 31, OnePlus 13 will launch in China.
On October 31 at 4:00 PM CST (or 1:30 PM IST), the OnePlus 13 will go on sale in China. This will happen after Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC debut. At a price of about ₹70,000, the gadget is expected to reach India by late December or early January 2025.
