Vivo X200 Series with Dimensity 9400 and Origin OS 5 Launched: Specifications and Price
Vivo X200 series was launched in China. As part of its most recent smartphone portfolio, the Chinese manufacturer unveiled three devices: the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. While the first two models expand on the features that the firm first presented with the X100 series, the X200 Pro Mini is a completely new model that is meant to have similar hardware packed into a smaller form factor. The Vivo X200 series sports features including Origin OS 5, the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 CPU, and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features like Vivo’s own Circle to Search.
Cost of Vivo X200 Series
Starting at CNY 4,300 (about Rs. 51,000) for the base 12GB+256GB storage option, the Vivo X200 is priced in China. In addition, storage combinations of 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB are offered.
As for the Vivo X200 Pro, the 12GB+256GB storage option starts at CNY 5,999, or around Rs. 63,000. For the same configuration, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini costs CNY 4,699, or around Rs. 56,000.
There are four color options for each of the three smartphones: Sapphire Blue, Moonlight White, Titanium Grey, and Carbon Black. The X200 and X200 Pro Mini will go on sale in stores on October 19, while the X200 Pro will be available for purchase starting on October 25. All three phones are still available for preorder.
Specifications of the Vivo X200 Series
The 6.67-inch 10-bit OLED LTPS quad-curved screen on the Vivo X200 supports Zeiss Natural Color. In order to reduce flicker, it has high-frequency PWM dimming, HDR 10+, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Its triple rear camera configuration (a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto sensor, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter) provides excellent optics.
A 5,800mAh BlueVolt battery that supports 90W cable charging powers the smartphone.
With a few exceptions, the screen of the Vivo X200 Pro is comparable to that of the regular model. With a customizable refresh rate up to 120Hz, it’s an LTPO panel. This model’s display bezels are likewise thinner, at 1.63mm. In the meantime, the new X200 Pro Mini has a 6.31-inch flat display that is smaller. A 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a new 50-megapixel Sony LYT-818 camera make up the triple rear camera modules seen on Vivo’s X200 Pro variants. Nonetheless, the telephoto camera has undergone minor modifications. The X200 Pro Mini features a 50-megapixel sensor, while the Pro variant receives a new 200-megapixel Zeiss APO telephoto camera.
Vivo’s V3+ image chip, which debuted on the X100 Ultra, supports the camera modules in the Pro versions. It makes features like up to 60 frames per second (fps) of 4K HDR Cinematic Portrait footage and 10-bit log shooting possible.
The batteries that power the Vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini are 5,800mAh and 6,000mAh, respectively. Additionally, both allow 90W connected charging.
The new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which was created via a second-generation 3nm technology, powers all three models. Its main feature is a Cortex-X925 performance core with a peak clock speed of 3.6GHz. Vivo’s latest Origin OS 5 powers the devices. The company’s own version of Circle, a visual lookup tool that lets users mark a portion of the screen and enable its lookup on the web, is one of the AI elements it brings to Search.
