Gets Trailer for The Forest Hills, Shelley Duvall’s Horror Film
The Forest Hills’ trailer is now available
The Forest Hills, which also happened to be Duvall’s last film, was her first role back in the spotlight after a protracted 20-year absence. The comedy Manna From Heaven (2002), which was helmed by Gabrielle and Maria Burton, was her last on screen appearance.
The actress gained notoriety for her roles in a number of films, including The Portrait of a Lady (1996), Frankenweenie (1984), Roxanne (1987), Time Bandits (1981), The Shining (1980), and more.
What happens in the trailer for The Forest Hills?
A guy is being pursued by a beast in the forest in the opening scene of the gory trailer for The Forest Hills. The chain-smoking figure played by Duvall, who appears to be anything but a typical mother to her kids, is then introduced.
The next film, from Dreznick Goldberg Production and Digital Thunderdome, is about a man who sustains a head injury from a climbing mishap and starts to have severe, “nightmarish visions.”
Along with Chiko Mendez as Rico, Felissa Rose as Dr. Gonzales, Edward Furlong as Billy, Dee Wallace as Angela, Stacey Nelkin as Debbie, and Marianne Hagan as Jordana are also featured.
Synopsis
Haunted by nightmares and dark secrets, Rico (Mendez) descends into madness in the Catskill Mountains. Fueled by fear and isolation, as well as struggling with a strained relationship with Mama (Duvall), Rico attempts to find solace in his friendship with Billy (Furlong), in an attempt to fight his demons.
Scott Goldberg is the director, writer, and producer of the upcoming horror film. On Friday, October 4, The Forest Hills will be presented in a few theaters.
