Oppo F27 5G Debuts With a Walkie-Talkie Feature, a 2,100 Nits Display, and an Elegant Halo Light

Because of its large, rounded camera module, smooth, shiny frame, and relatively thin screen margins, the Oppo F27 5G has a very modern appearance. The LED ring surrounding the camera module, however, is the most unique aspect of the housing. This so-called “halo light” may change color to signal various things, like as incoming calls, notifications, or music playback.

Three times the loudness of the previous model is expected to be produced by the integrated stereo speakers. The 187 gram, roughly 7.76 mm thin light housing is IP64 certified, meaning it is weather and dust resistant. BeaconLink, which enables several Oppo smartphones to connect over Bluetooth and function as walkie-talkies at a maximum distance of about 200 meters, is one of the most unique features of the Oppo F27 5G.

An Oppo 6.67-inch fast 1,080p+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,100 nits is fitted at 120 Hz. There’s a 50 MP primary camera with a 2 MP auxiliary sensor. There is a center punch-hole that houses the 32 megapixel selfie camera. The battery “only” has a 5,000 mAh capacity, but even with that, it should be able to last nearly two days. Up to 45 watts of USB-C charging power is available.

Cost and accessibility

The Oppo F27 5G will initially be offered in India, where the entry-level model, which has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage, will cost INR 22,999 (about $275), and the top model, which has 256 GB of storage, will cost INR 24,999 (roughly $300).
