The corporation recently said that it will carry on producing conventional combustion-engine vehicles for as long as legal restrictions allow. This choice comes in response to Aston Martin’s announcement in February of a one-year delay in the debut of its first electric vehicle, which is now scheduled for 2026 with delivery anticipated in 2027.
Speaking of the 2025 Vantage, it has a much-improved 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that generates 665 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, a big boost over the 510 bhp and 685 Nm of torque of its predecessor. The experts at Aston Martin used a variety of improvements, including as bigger turbochargers, better cooling systems, optimized compression ratios, and cam profile changes for the V8 to accomplish this power increase.
An 8-speed ZF automatic transmission is mated to the Vantage, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 202 mph. The 2025 Vantage has better acceleration and handling thanks to its new launch control system and configurable traction control.
Aston Martin has also improved the Vantage by adding sophisticated adaptive dampers, stronger lateral connections between the rear suspension towers, and redesigned front body cross members. The company claims that these improvements are intended to increase stability and agility, leading to a more dynamic driving experience.
The 2025 Vantage has wider rear bumper, bigger tailpipes, an expanded grille, and Matrix LED headlights that are similar to the DB12. Purchasers can add three different liveries, select from 21 different colors, and add extra highlights and pinstripes to customize their car.
Cast-iron brake discs, 21-inch forged wheels, and an innovative vehicle dynamics control system are standard on the Vantage. It is optional to add carbon ceramic brakes, which will improve performance and save 27 kg of unsprung weight.
The Vantage’s interior has been revamped with a redesigned dashboard that has physical buttons and switches in addition to a new 10.25-inch infotainment system. An 11-speaker, 390 watt system is the standard audio arrangement; a 15-speaker, 1,170-watt system from Bowers & Wilkins is an option.
