The launch date for Realme GT5 Pro was recently affirmed
Realme just announced that the Realme GT5 Pro smartphone will be available. The company plans to release its first flagship featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 soon, following in the footsteps of Vivo and Xiaomi. The new gadget will be the Realme GT5 Pro model, which made its debut in August 2023. It will also be a big improvement in terms of photography for the Realme GT series. The phone will have a periscope lens, making it the first in the BBK group to do so. The company just wrapped up a conference in China where it revealed the periscope telephoto sensor’s specifications. The launch date of Realme’s upcoming flagship in China has been revealed in a new teaser that the company posted on Weibo.

The teaser for Realme indicates that its China launch date is December 7. The event is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM (UTC + 8) and will be broadcast live on the brand’s social media accounts. Realme recently released a teaser for the launch event that features an image of a periscope sensor that showcases the smartphone’s zoom feature. In the coming days, pre-booking for the smartphone will be possible on JD.com.
Realme used the occasion to reveal additional information about the camera in addition to the launch date. A 50 MP Sony IMX 890 periscope telephoto sensor will be included with the device. Both optical and electronic image stabilization (EIS and OIS) will be available for the sensor. Additionally, Realme will include a 1/1.56-inch sensor, 2.7x optical zoom, and support for 120x digital zoom with the phone.
In terms of photography, the smartphone will be a significant improvement. Realme verified it as well by offering RAW mode shooting capabilities. The primary and periscope telephoto lenses are confirmed by the brand to be capable of producing DOL-HDR images.

Right out of the box, the device will run Android 14 with Realme UI on top. Impressively, the 24 GB model received 2,225 points in the Single-Core test and 6,663 points in the Multi-Core test. The device will support 100W wired fast-charging, according to the 3C listing. The gadget will have a 1.5K resolution AMOLED panel from BOE that can reach 3,000 nits of peak brightness. It is anticipated that the Realme GT5 Pro will have a 5,400 mAh battery that supports 50W wireless charging and 100W rapid charging.
