PM Modi pays a visit to Radha Soami Satsang Beas in Punjab and meets with Chief Dhillon
Radha Soami SatsangBeas (RSSB) is a spiritual organisation in Beas town, about 45 kilometres from Amritsar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to Radha Soami Satsang in Beas, Amritsar, on Saturday and met with its chief, Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon.
Later, Modi visited the Dera community kitchen, where women followers were preparing chapatis and chopping vegetables, according to Dera officials.
According to reports, the prime minister spent about an hour at the Radha Soami SatsangBeas (RSSB).
Modi announced in a tweet on Friday that he would be visiting RSSB.
“Under the leadership of Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon Ji, the RSSB is at the forefront of numerous community service efforts,” Modi had said in his tweet.
RSSB, also known as Dera Baba Jaimal Singh, is located in Beas town, approximately 45 kilometres from Amritsar. It has supporters all over the country, particularly in Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh.
The prime minister met Dhillon in Delhi in February and praised the spiritual organisation for its social service.
In the run-up to the November 12 assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, Modi is also scheduled to speak at public meetings in Sundernagar and Solan on Saturday.
