Joe Biden is contemplating another presidential bid. ‘My wife thinks,’ he replied
Joe Biden: In an interview, Jill Biden stated that she would back a bid by Joe Biden in 2024.
Joe Biden, the president of the United States and the oldest person to occupy the office, stated that he will run for reelection in 2024 and that his wife, first lady Jill Biden, supports him in doing so.
In an interview, US Vice President Joe Biden remarked, “My wife thinks that we’re doing something extremely significant, and I shouldn’t walk away from it.”
Joe Biden continued, “I have not officially made that choice, but it is my intention, my intention to run again, and we have time to make that decision.
Jill Biden previously stated that she would support Joe Biden running for president in 2024 in an interview with NBC.
Jill Biden had said, “He understands government better than anyone else.”
Joe Biden has also stated that he will decide whether to run for the role again after the outcome of the midterm elections. He added that if and when there is a rematch, he thinks he could easily defeat former president Donald Trump.
The midterm elections in November could be crucial for the Democratic party as it struggles to retain control of Congress.
The party would prefer Joe Biden as the presidential candidate in 2024, according to polls by CNN and the New York Times, but a Marquette University law school survey revealed only a slim majority in favour of Biden’s probable run.
According to a survey conducted by Marquette University’s law school, about 75 percent of US adults oppose Joe Biden’s bid for re-election.
