“#AskYami aap shaadi kab karogii (When will you get married)?” someone questioned. When Yami posted an image from her wedding to Aditya Dhar, she said, “What, Hain? (using an emoji of a face).”
Many spectators were left in splits. Someone said, “Maybe he meant about chances of second marriage (Maybe he meant about dusri shadi ka koi chance kabhi)?” Another admirer wrote: “My favourite Bollywood pair. got married simply and according to our customs.” Additionally, a joke was made on Yami’s nuptials “Ye initial that? Shooting laga ye ki hai, mujhe! This was the original one? Aap ne mera dil thod diya I initially believed it to be a shooting scene. You hurt my feelings.”
On June 4, 2021, in Himachal Pradesh, Yami and Aditya exchanged vows in a private ceremony. The pair recently travelled to Himachal Pradesh on a spiritual journey that included a few temple visits. Yami posted pictures of her visit to the Jwala Devi mandir in Shimla on Instagram along with the caption, “The spiritual sensation after Darshan at Jwala Devi mandir is inexpressible.” Yami and Aditya also paid a visit to and offered prayers at the Naina Devi temple. At the beautiful Naina Devi mandir in my Dev Bhoomi Himachal, I took blessings, she wrote.
The two previously collaborated in the war drama Uri: The Surgical Strike from 2019. With Vicky Donor, Yami made her Bollywood debut. Since then, she has appeared in a number of films, including Kaabil, Sanam Re, Bala, Ginny Weds Sunny, and A Thursday.
Yami last appeared in Dasvi with Nimrat Kaur and Abhishek Bachchan. Yami’s next film appearance will be in Lost, which is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chaudhary and stars Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, and Neil Bhoopalam. In Oh My God 2, she will also appear opposite Akshay Kumar.
