From Dubai to Armenia, to our motherland India, director Akshay K Agarwal has captured almost all the beautiful locations of the world in his music videos.Director by profession, he has been indulged in a large number of music videos, TV serials, advertisements, digital art and much more.
To talk of his alma mater, Akshay is a post graduate. He is a Bachelor of Science with Computer Science branch followed by MBA in Information Technology. He discovered his passion for direction in his college days. He used to play guitar and was an active participant in band perfomances. Moreover, he did both acting as well as music course. Also, he was a part of various street plays and theatres.
From the year 2014 onwards, he began experimenting with his passion and finally his hard wark paid off in 2019 which proved to be a turning point in his career. “Main ishq ka raja hoon, tu husn ki rani hai”, yes you read it right. This was only the song which made Akshay a household name. With the legaendary singer Hamsar Hayat and famous Addy Nagar on vocals, the song crossed more than 360 Million views on YouTube.
If you are active on social media then you might be aware that what buzz these lines of the song created, “Kal dekh ke chiptey they, ab dekhte hain chipkar, voh daur tha bachpan ka, ye daur jawani jai”. From normal audience to famous TV and Bollywood personalities were creating TikTok videos humming these particular lyrics from the song.
He also directed the famous talk show which was aired on the Epic Channel feauturing the versatile actor Parikshit Sahni. He had so far collaborated with many bollywood singers like Ankit Tiwari, Ash King, Mamta Sharma to name a few.
His song Yaara featuring youth sensation Manjul Khattar, Arishfa Khan and Ajaz Ahmed with Mamta Sharma on the vocals gained more than 275M views on YouTube. His latest video Main Sharabi broke all the records with 230 Million views within three months of release. This song gained huge popularity in India as well as abroad.
