Royal Family announces guest list for Prince Philip’s funeral
Buckingham Palace on Thursday delivered the names of the 30 individuals who will go to Prince Philip’s funeral on Saturday. The number of attendees is restricted to 30 because of Britain’s COVID-19 restrictions — and even Britain’s COVID-19 restrictions will not join in.
The funeral is limited to Queen Elizabeth and Philip’s four children, eight grandkids, their spouses, the late Princess Margaret’s children and several members of Philip’s Greek and German family.
The full list of attendees is as follows:

Philip, who kicked the bucket on April 9 at 99 years old, was born Prince Philip of Greece, the fifth and just son of Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark and Princess Alice. His family escaped progressives in Greece a year after he was born, and it was accounted for he was pirated out of the country in a fruit crate. His older sisters all married German aristocrats, and since he wedded Queen Elizabeth just a two years after the end of World War II, none of his enduring family members aside from his mom went to their wedding.
The funeral procession will start at 2:40 p.m. BST, or 9:40 p.m. ET. His coffin, flanked by eight military pallbearers, will be put in an adjusted Land Rover — which Philip helped design — and moved from Windsor Castle to St. George’s Chapel. Individuals from the military will line the route and fire guns in salute during the procession.
The following members from the Royal Family will stroll in procession behind the coffin: Prince Charles and his sons, Princes William and Harry; Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Tim Laurence, and child, Peter Phillips; Prince Andrew; Prince Edward and his child, Forfar, Viscount Sevrin; and Earl Snowden.
Harry, who has been antagonized from the Royal Family since he moved away from imperial obligations in January 2020, won’t stroll close to his sibling William. In a stunner talk with he and his significant other, Meghan, provided for Oprah Winfrey a month ago, he said despite the fact that he and William had “been through hell together” but they were on “different paths.” Meghan, who is pregnant with several’s subsequent kid, won’t go to the memorial service on clinical counsel not to travel.
The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. BST, or 10 a.m. ET and will be broadcast all through. It won’t be a state burial service, but instead a ceremonial royal funeral, like what was held for the Queen Mother in 2002 and Princess Diana in 1997.
The funeral service will be led by the Dean of Windsor and is relied upon to most recent 50 minutes. All attendees will wear masks.
During the service, a small choir of four will sing bits of music picked by Philip.
