Entrepreneur Daniel Delfani Takes On Film Industry

As the current global situation forces certain industries to close, the film industry is one that thriving in the City of Toronto. In fact, Film and TV are some of the biggest income-generators for Toronto. Drake was just seen shooting a music video in Toronto this past weekend, and there have been many commercial and TV shoots over the past months.

One person who is taking advantage of his interest in film in Daniel Delfani, an entrepreneur from Toronto best known for his chain of barber shops called Canvas.

He recently opened a film and photo studio called D2R Studio – and has had a keen interest in the film industry for years. Already hosting music videos for popular musical artists 3MFrench and YC$, the studio is in full force.

Special Effects

The studio houses it’s own lighting, lasers, and special effect capabilities. This allows for more impressive videos without having to rent equipment for the shoot.

The space includes a pyrotechnics expert who can create elaborate displays of fire for music videos. He has a long history in the professional touring industry.

The studio is equipped with its own set of lasers. Artists can create custom
displays and light patterns for video shoots.

4,200SQ/FT studio can be easily divided into modular pieces for ideal set design.
