8 Much Awaited New Cars Will Soon Be Launched In India
There are a ton of new cars that will be released before the end of this year and in the first part of 2025. The main 4 automakers in India, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, and Mahindra, plan to introduce brand-new vehicles, primarily SUVs. These are the eagerly awaited models:
1. Mahindra Thar Armada & XUV.e8:
The Mahindra Thar Armada, which will be available with three engine options and manual or automatic gearboxes, is scheduled to go on sale in August. With a more opulent interior and cutting-edge features like ADAS, a dual-pane sunroof, a digital console, and a larger touchscreen, the new model will be bigger than the three-door variant. Furthermore, the XUV.e8 electric SUV—which is based on the INGLO platform—is anticipated to make its debut by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025.
2. Hyundai Creta EV & Alcazar Facelift:
Early in 2025, the Hyundai Creta EV is scheduled to launch in India after undergoing thorough testing both domestically and abroad. It is anticipated to have an electric motor in common with the Kona Electric and to take major design cues from the Creta, its ICE equivalent. With features identical to the standard Creta, this midsize electric SUV is expected to have a range of about 450 km. Furthermore, this holiday season will see the unveiling of the revamped Alcazar, which will have several internal and external changes.
3. New Maruti Suzuki Dzire:
The next Dzire is scheduled to go on sale in the upcoming months and has been seen testing on Indian roads several times. It will be very different from the new Swift, yet it takes major design cues from it. Its smaller hatchback sister will also get the same features. A new 1.2L Z-series gasoline engine with a manual or AMT transmission will be available.
4. Tata Curvv EV & ICE, Nexon iCNG:
The Tata Curvv electric variant is scheduled for introduction in the upcoming months, with an anticipated range of more than 500 kilometers. After this debut, the ICE version will be released, with a 1.5L Nexon diesel engine and a new 1.2L direct-injection petrol engine. Launched earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the Nexon iCNG is also scheduled for release prior to the end of 2024.
