5-Meter-Long Baojun Xiangjing that Comes in EV and PHEV Versions Makes its Debut in China
Officially presented on December 26, the Baojun Xiangjing is the company’s flagship sedan aimed at family-oriented consumers. It is scheduled to go on sale in the first half of 2025. Both PHEV and BEV models will be available.
The PHEV and EV versions differ in their designs; the PHEV joins the headlights on both sides with a through-type headlight stripe that runs across the front face.
The electric vehicle is outfitted with three-point LED headlamps and a closed grille. A trapezoidal grille adorned with silver trim is installed on the bottom. At the center is the logo for the Baojun brand.
The Lingmou Intelligent Driving 2.0 Max system is also anticipated to be included with the Baojun Xiangjing.
The car has a 2900 mm wheelbase and measures 5005 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1490 mm (EV) or 1505 mm (PHEV) in height. For comparison, the Geely Galaxy E8 has a wheelbase of 2925 mm and dimensions of 5010/1920/1465 mm.
With a maximum speed of 170 km/h, the 186 kW (249 hp) electric motor and lithium iron phosphate battery pack provide the EV variant’s power. A 1.5T engine with a maximum output of 105 kW (141 hp) and a top speed of 190 km/h powers the PHEV variant. It is also equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, which provides a 101 km CLTC pure electric range. As of right present, more precise details on the battery’s capacity and range are unclear.
The cockpit’s interior is straightforward, with a big central control screen, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a center console with two cup holders and a storage area, and a full LCD instrument panel.
