2025 Yamaha R3 Unveiled With New Features & Styling
Production of the hugely successful Yamaha R3 brand began in 2015. Although it has previously seen updates, the supersport will see significant changes in 2024 when a whole new design language is added, bringing it into compliance with the most recent faired models from the well-known Japanese manufacturer. Additionally, Yamaha has included additional equipment for the 2025 MY.
The 2025 Yamaha R3 gets a completely redesigned, sharper front end, right after the new R9 was unveiled.
The new R3 has two thin LED projector headlamps and new LED daytime running lights that are positioned in front of the central headlamp in the shape of a thunderbolt. To further emphasize its aggressive appearance, revisions have also been made to the back and side body panels. A new LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity has been added to the equipment list.
The redesigned Yamaha R3 is powered by the well-known 321 cc parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which can produce up to 41.4 bhp of peak power and 29.5 Nm of peak torque. Six-speed transmission connects to the powerplant.
The faired R3’s suspension consists of a monoshock from Kayaba in the back and upside-down forks at the front. Both the front and rear disc brakes work in tandem with a dual-channel ABS system to provide braking power.
