2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S Announced with Additional Features and Power

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S is now available for purchase worldwide. Both a coupe and a cabriolet will be available for the sports car. In the 911 lineup, the Carerra S is positioned in between the Carerra and the GTS. The sports vehicle has higher factory power and a longer list of standard features for 2025.

More than 470 horsepower and 528 Nm of peak torque are now produced by the 3.0-liter twin-turbo boxer, six-cylinder engine. Compared to the outgoing model, this has 30 horsepower more. By installing new turbochargers and improving the charge-air cooling, among other modifications, Porsche was able to extract more power from the same engine. When the Sport Chrono Package is installed, the Carrera S Coupe can accelerate from zero to 96 kmph in as little as 3.1 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the previous model. It can also attain a high track speed of 307 kmph. Power is transferred to the back wheels via an eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK).

Porsche has significantly improved the Carrera S’s basic features. Performance-wise, these enhancements include a silver-tipped Sport Exhaust system and brakes from the previous generation 911 Carrera GTS vehicles, which have front and rear measurements of 408 mm and 380 mm, respectively.

In comparison to the previous generation, the upgraded dampers with tuned hydraulics offer better responsiveness and ride quality. The 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), two performance-focused standard features from the previous model, are still present. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and PASM Sport Suspension, which lowers the ride height by 10 mm, are available options. Rear axle steering is also an option, which improves agility at slower speeds and provides more stability at faster ones. A faster steering ratio and altered front axle kinematics are also included when this system is used.

The 2025 Carrera S cars come equipped with a noticeably improved interior. Unlike previous Carrera S models, the interior now comes with more leather upholstery as standard on the seats, headrests, upper dashboard, upper door panels, and, if available, the back seats. A two-seat arrangement is standard, as is the case with the other 911 Carrera Coupe models of the current generation, however rear seats are optional. For variants of the Cabriolet, the rear seats are standard and cannot be removed.
