2025 Lotus Emira Turbo SE Arrives With An AMG 400 HP Four-Pot

The 2025 Lotus Emira lineup has expanded to include the Turbo SE, a third variant. This new version improves the car’s performance and adds a few special features. It joins the normal Emira Turbo and the Emira V6.

The new Emira Turbo SE is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine from AMG, much as the base model. But the Turbo SE produces 400 horsepower and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) instead of a maximum of 360 horsepower and 317 lb-ft (430 Nm). This indicates that it outmuscles the six-cylinder model’s torque number of 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) and matches its 400 horsepower.

Notably, the Emira V6 is still the only model available with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, while the Turbo SE is only available with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Turbo SE can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.0 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the basic Emira Turbo because to its increased horsepower and torque. Moreover, the vehicle’s top speed has been raised to 180 mph (290 km/h), an increase of 11 mph (18 km/h).

On the Turbo SE, included the Lotus Drivers Pack as standard equipment, which includes launch control, upgraded cross-drilled and ventilated two-piece brake discs, and sportier suspension settings. The car has a special set of 20-inch V-spoke forged satin grey wheels, red brake calipers, an Alcantara headliner, black Lotus branding, new “Emira Turbo SE” badging, and black tailpipes. It is also painted zinc grey.

Sales of the three 2025 Emira models have begun in a number of Asia Pacific, Middle Eastern, and African nations.
