The vehicle features a multi-spoke rim design, through-type lighting, and a hexagonal grille in keeping with the “soft light aesthetics” design language. It’s important to note that the lower front piece has a different design. The 2025 Chery Tiggo 9’s dimensions—4820/1930/1699 (1710) mm and a 2820 mm wheelbase—remain the same as those of the 2024 model.
The 2.0T engine still produces power when paired with either an Aisin 8AT or a 7DCT. The 2.0T engine produces 400 Nm and 192 kW (257 horsepower). There are three driving modes available: standard, sport, and economy. Every model level has front-wheel drive.
The 2025 Chery Tiggo 9’s interior has a D-shaped multifunction steering wheel, a dual-screen design for the instrument panel and central control screen, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip to power the integrated system. There are two cabin layout options: 2+3+2 seven-seater and 2+3 five-seater.
Additional options include an electric tailgate, an openable panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing automatic wipers, heated front seats, a reversing radar, six-way and four-way electric seat adjustments for the driver and co-pilot, 50 W wireless charging, ambient lighting, a remote control, eight speakers, and an artificial intelligence model for cockpit interaction.
Chery Tiggo 9 C-DM
The Tiggo 9 C-DM shares the same appearance as the Tiggo 9 from 2025. The C-DM tail label designating the car’s identity and the addition of two fresh exterior paints with a green tint are the sole modifications. With a wheelbase of 2820 mm and a body size of 4820/1930/1712 mm, it is marginally taller than the 2025 Tiggo 9.
The 1.5T hybrid engine and front electric motor in Chery’s Kunpeng Super Performance Electric Hybrid C-DM system, which is connected to a 3-speed DHT, provide the system’s power. The capacity of the ternary lithium battery pack is 19.43 kWh. The motor produces 165 kW (221 hp)/390 Nm, while the engine produces 115 kW (154 hp)/220 Nm. The official WLTC comprehensive range under a full tank and full charge is more than 1,400 km, the CLTC pure electric range is 106 km, and the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 8.8 seconds. Recharging a battery from 30% to 80% under fast charging takes 25 minutes, whereas slow charging takes 3.5 hours.
Additionally, a standard 6.6 kW VtoL mobile power station function is also present.
