2025 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Launches at $16,900 USD
The 2025 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro is this. Five trims—three with 1.6T power and two with 2.0T power—with a price range of 119,900 – 153,900 yuan (16,900 – 21,700 USD) were introduced. The 2.0T AWD variant was dropped from the 2025 Tiggo 8 Pro, a yearly facelift car. Every model from 2025 is FWD. The 2024 model costs 9,000 yuan (990 USD) more than the entry-level trim pricing.
The Tiggo 8 Pro, Tiggo 8 Plus, Tiggo 8 Plus Champion Edition, Tiggo 8 Plus C-DM, Tiggo 8L, Tiggo 8 Honor Edition, and Tiggo 8 Special Edition are the current models of the Chery Tiggo 8 series.
The appearance is the same on the outside. The body dimensions remain 4745 x 1860 x 1745 mm, with a wheelbase of 2710 mm. There are no changes made to the 2+3 five-seater or 2+3+2 seven-seater cabin configurations. For the five-seater, the trunk volume ranges from 889 L to 1930 L, and for the seven-seater, it is 193 L to 1930 L. There are four exterior color options: jade, white, black, and grey.
There are two engine options available, connected to either a 7DCT or 8AT: 145 kW (194 hp)/290 Nm 1.6TGDI and 187 kW (251 hp)/390 Nm 2.0TGDI engines. The 8AT was just included. The total fuel consumptions per 100 kilometers are 7.49, 7.52, and 7.1 liters. Tires measuring 18 inches (235/55 R18) or 19 inches (235/50 R19) are still fitted to the new vehicle.
The cockpit’s interior still features a D-shaped multifunction steering wheel and a 24.6-inch integrated screen that combines the primary control screen and instrument panel. This screen is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor.
The standard tiredness monitoring and reminder feature, front side airbags, and front and rear head airbags for the entire series are among the improved functional setups. There are now four external cameras instead of only one. In addition, there is now ambient lighting, electric side mirror heating and folding, electric driver seat adjustment, and one-touch window lowering and raising for every vehicle window.
A combination of a level 2.5 advanced driving assistance feature, a 50 W wireless charging mobile phone, a Sony 8-speaker audio system, a W-HUD, smart voice assistant, mobile phone remote control, WiFi hotspot, and one-button start/keyless entry are among the other configurations available for the five trims.
