2 New Nissan SUVs Are Coming This Year In India: The Essential Information

Later this year, Nissan India plans to release the X-Trail and Magnite facelift versions to the Indian market. It is scheduled to be delivered to India in fully assembled (CBU) form.

1. Nissan X-Trail

The Nissan X-Trail is scheduled to debut in the upcoming months and will be constructed on the CMF-C platform by Renault-Nissan. A new teaser suggests that the upcoming X-Trail will have an L-shaped LED tail-lamp, sleeker-looking LED headlamps, and a black V-Motion grille with chrome elements. The most recent hint suggests that the next SUV would ride on machine-cut alloy wheels of some sort.

The 1.5-liter, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that powers the Nissan X-Trail is anticipated to have a maximum torque of 305 Nm and a peak output of 204 horsepower. The business has not yet revealed whether the model would be offered in five- or seven-seat variants for the Indian market, but it will be equipped with a CVT gearbox.

2. Nissan Magnite facelift

The Nissan Magnite facelift, which has been repeatedly spotted testing on Indian roads, will make its debut there in late 2024. The redesigned SUV will have reprofiled front and back bumpers, a new grille, and a new lighting arrangement. Additionally, new alloy wheels will be added to the Magnite makeover. The dashboard of the SUV is predicted to stay mostly unchanged, with the exception of a few additional amenities added to the cabin.

The Nissan Magnite facelift is not anticipated to include any mechanical upgrades. The current 1.0-liter gasoline engine options with 72 horsepower and 96 Nm and the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with 100 horsepower and 160 Nm will still power it. Both an AMT gearbox and a 5-speed manual transmission are available as options.
